SO
I rebuilt my engine.
It's in spec
It's in time
I've checked
Then I checked again
Then again, and again and again....
Started the engine....blowing exhaust out the intake, stumbles, dies
Retimed the engine.
checked timing
Check again
And again
and again
Started engine....still doing same thing
NOW
I have the FS-ZE Intake cam
I also have the Corksport Exhaust cam
STOCK CAM GEARS
STOCK ECU FOR AUTOMATIC TRANS
...now, if I'm timed up correctly (According to OE cam timing for the DE) is the cam timing off?
The engine isnt so far out that it's not starting at all. Spins over easy and acts like it wants to start...then sputters, kicks exhaust out the intake, and dies...
SO...my intake valves are either open at the the end of the exhaust stroke, or they're opening on the combustion stroke...
help?
