eBay Strut Tower Brace

Have any of you guys bought this and installed it?
I was wondering because the two pictures listed are not of the same strut brace, and it seems like it would ride a bit high off the engine bay.

very very very very true. you get what you pay for! if your gonna do it, you really should do it right the first time with a quality product

Do you know if there is anyway just to get the mounting brackets for this because I have stillen strut brace for my old nissan and might try and see if I can get that to work, just need to brackets.

You could try talking to the seller. I actually bought the brace. It's okay. Not the strongest, but there is a noticeable difference in handling, just because there is a sort of brace to keep the body from rolling as much.

yea i may just use the same brackets if i can punch a couple holes thru them. I don't know how strong it'll hold up but temporarily it might do ok. i'll let yall know.

just got back to my car... been outta town... will kno by tuesday. i'll post soon as i kno.

well i don't even think the bar will clear the battery and that resevoir. so i'm gonna hold onto it and see if i can just find brackets for one. I'm going to a meet in a couple weeks over in plano so they might be able to help me out with the brackets.

No. The bar will clear it just fine. It sits with nearly a half to a quarter of an inch.
The only thing that annoys the hell out of me is the need to lift the right side of the brace in order to take off the battery cover.

Actually, there's hardly any clearance. the brace is almost sitting on top of it.

I had a Tanabe strut brace on my previous ride, worked like a charm. Not sure with Ebay products.
