Hey guys, sorry if this is a repost.

Anyone try the ebay CAI yet? They're selling for like $45. Looks the same as an Injen, just generic.

for that price... it might be worth check it out! The materials the Injen uses don't exactly cost a fortune. It's the R&D that went into developing it that makes the product so costly. (that and the fact that it says "Injen" on it) So perhaps this company (whoever they are) simply copied the concept and here's the result. Like I said, might be worth a shot.

You're probably looking for someone who also has this though... not sure you'll find anyone on here but ya never know! If not, be a pioneer!! $200+ is a lot of money to drop on a CAI that doesnt' REALLY increase performance. (just sounds "cool"). I've got one and am VERY pleased with it... but if you don't have the money, go for this one!

I might go ahead and be the guinea pig!!! Hmmmmm, should I, or should I not?

I'd be intrested to know how well it works. For the $$$, it might be worth it to try. If you're not happy with it, you could probably sell it again for atleast half of what you paid for it. The Ingen is just so much more expensive...

Yeah, if you look at the picture, it's almost exactly like an injen, just not with the fancy coloring and words... I just might buy it and see!

no, they didn't actually buy the CAI that's on ebay.. instead they transformed their SRI's into CAI's...

Can someone look at the listing and tell me if their Injen had the exact same parts and pieces?

bumpity bump.... sorry for the impatience, I wanna try it and it ends soon

Well, I just bidded on the Ebay CAI, so we'll see what happens! I'll keep everyone posted!

I'm also thinking about buying one.

There's one that ends in 3 hours, that also has a "buy it now" of 42.95.

LOL Dummys ! that is not a set-up for the MSP

Haha who is the dummy NOW!!

The auction looks like it has everything the Injen CAI came with... I wish they had this around when I got my Injen.

Ahh yes...quite interesting...but u would really need to buy a K&N filter for it....probably would cost as much as the kit though.

Hey I don't mind buying a K&N, cause it still will end up being over half the price of an injen anyway. Well, I bought it on New Years Day, so I'm just waiting on it to come in!

Are there any how-to's for installing a cold air intake? This kit doesn't come with instructions...

I am interested in this so could u keep me updated as to how it turns out...pics etc... I think the long tube goes from the intake manifold to the MAF and the short tube goes into the wheel well/ fender area. do a search on CAI installs
