Ebay Boost Controller... Comments?!?!?

i would get a joe P or some other brand, just because you have no clue what reputation that thing has, and if it will creep more etc...

Will he has a Positive Feedback: 100% write him and ask him any questions you might have, and read some of his feedback.
Just an opinion...

well what those mbc sellers fail to mention is that they use a stock single rate spring set for a minimum of 15psi...so its a bad idea for low boost applications...its easy enough to get a dual rate softer spring for 25 cents from the hardware store to fix it but most people dont like taking things apart...joep and hallman are both good mbcs...Id say spend the money and have piece of mind...the only mbc seller on ebay that I actually liked was someone sellign SRP brand MBCs...guys name was brent...

yep the mbc i got off ebay for 15 bucks shipped wouldnt go any lower then 11psi in 2nd gear....worthless(headbang)

hehe why would you want to boost lower than 11psi...hehe...well you can sorta fix the problem by cutting off about 2-3 coils...still only a single rate spring but will work pretty good, should only give ya a 2psi spike before settling...

why spend $10 bucks or so if you'll end up chucking it down the road for something better. Esp if its for another mbc. Fork out the few extra bucks and get a nicer piece. You'll be happier. While your on ebay keep searching for a good deal. Ebay'd my TurboXS for about 35 bucks and couldn't be happier.

I bought the one your talkin about (the one from the link, from ebay), It looks pretty nice, i haven't installed it yet, cause i need to buy a boost guage first. The insturctions are very professional. Once i get a boost guage, i'll see how the controler works.
