Ebay addiction, who has it?

I just came to the conclusion that I am addicted to ebay.. I spend so much time and money on there and when I get home from work I get at least 2 emails saying I've won something... Whenever someone outbids me its like and insult and I have to outbid them. I am usually buying things for my car, and that doesnt bother me, but I think this addiction could lead to some trouble later on.

My gf has already shown concern for me and my "problem" but said that she will support me as long as it makes me happy. :(

I'm always trying to find odds and ends stuff to sell. It's very addicting. I'm addicted to selling instead of buying. You know that because I've already sold you something.:) How's the setup coming. I finally got those prices you were looking for. I'll e-mail them to you. MP3 steering wheel=very expensive! The Mazdaspeed one is pricey but is a lot cheaper. I'll let you know this weekend(probably Sunday).

I have the MSP wheel :D with the yellow stitches. That wheel according to my dealer is the hardest to get, yet also the cheapest of the set (ES, LX, P5, MSP, MP3) with the MP3 being the most expensive.

I have the exact same problem. I usually end up paying more than I wanted to on items that are truly useless noveltys.

I find tons of wheels on there. The best deal I came across was on some SE37K's in Flat Black. Those are the hardest ones to find too since they don't make them anymore. Who ever one them got them for $1100 no rubber.

I'm addicted to "browsing" now, but I generally have my spending under control. I'm up to 126 all positive feedback, about 50/50 buying and selling.

Got my old 18's for cheap, XBOX with games for cheap, and old Soundstream stereo equipment not made anymore, its great for finding discontinued stuff, and even new stuff.

I don't shop retail much now, for anything less than a big TV where shipping is too high, or computer parts, which are cheaper locally, almost everything, even new stuff is at least 5-10% cheaper, even with the exchange rate, shipping and minor duty if it applies. Who buys at full price?

Its coming along pretty good. I could have had it done by now but there were a few minor imperfections and I sanded and have to spray paint again.

For the steering wheel, I dont want the MSP one that doesnt have the silver fully wraping around. The ones with just partial silver look kinda cheap IMO. I might have to hold back on ebay spending to save up for some of those things. I bought something else right after I posted the first message :D

Time for me to sell my old band equipment on ebay I guess.

I must contribute to all of your e-bay addictions cause all I do is sell, sell! Buy low and sell high! I've fallen into a pile of s*** and come out smelling like a dozen roses when it comes to e-bay. I had a supercharger(compressor) from a Millenia that I got for free. I put it on e-bay with a $100 reserve and ended up selling it for close to $600! That's when I got addicted. Digging trough all of my stuff looking for stuff to sell. Hell, I sold my RX-7 on e-bay!
We all have come to the first step; admitting that we have a problem.
I too have an e-bay addiction.
Excuse me, I have to go find something to sell.:)
Anyone looking for a 10th anniversary badge for an RX-7? Looks like that's the next item up for bid.

I think I'm about to sell a bunch of the original DBZ Ani-Mayhem cards, 800+ Magic the Gathering cards, and a whole lot of random Beast Wars Transformers toys. :o I think I can get at least two car payments out of it..

you know you're addicted to ebay when:

-your IE homepage is an ebay search
-your inbox is full of "congratulations...you've won!"
-you use Paypal like you use cash
-you know approximate shipping costs to any zip code in the US
-you know the UPS/Fedex guy's delivery schedule and name
