Weird issue with my Automatic P5...

The e-brake light indicator on the dash lights up intermittently when pushing the brake pedal. It will then go off when pushing the gas pedal.
Brake calipers do not appear to be seized.

Any ideas?

Check your brake fluid level.

The float switch may be tripping the light.

Once the fluid level hits the low mark, it's time to check your brakes for wear.

Unless you've got a fluid leak.

As the brakes wear, the fluid level drops as the brake pistons push out further.

It works out pretty close that when the brake light starts coming on, the pads are just about worn out.

must be fluid induced.....i wore a set of hawk pads down to about 2 mm had no brake light......but the resevoir was always kept full. but yeah, pad wear will lower the fluid level pho show......
