There are many types of people on this board...Some spend the time/effort/money to educate others through FACT and DYNOs.... then there are others that spend their time trolling this board.... saying "probably this" "I don't think" "You won't gain X" or "you should do this" and they are the type not to offer any facts..or spend the time to do a thoughtful write up on a mod nor do they appreciate the work of others....

it has been proven and stated many many many times that 2-3hp on a dyno is almost negligible due to different conditions in temp, weather, etc alone, let alone error in the dyno.

so instead of being an asshole next time, why dont you think before you speak. lets talk about what i have and havent done for this community...oh wait, you are a god (bow)

ok question, before the install of the parts you made 3 runs(or did you only run it once?) and they were ALL THE SAME? because i sure as hell know there would be 2-5whp difference between your runs! but hey, keep thinking what you want...

^^^ exactly, thats what im saying...i could dyno my car 6 times and get six different numbers, and toronto is going to act like a dickhead because i told the guy 2hp is negligible

I do agree that 2hp is negligible. Its the fact that you guys crap all over the effort is what I disagree with. Whats the incentive to do anything productive with guys like you jumping over everything.

And you wonder why this board is so hostile. Check the mirror sometime guys!

P5LawnMan can you explain the relocation of the coils? I'm interested in the wires and plugs simply for the economical improvement (MPG). I'm getting 420-430 miles per tank -- if I can improve upon that, I'm all over it. Planning on purchasing a CAI/ SRI and maybe the wires and plugs. Thanks for any and all information.

don't worry about it matt, its the same people that think a catback will give you 15whp i bet.
"Yeah and your probably one of them"!!!!(braindead Dude quit with the (nagging), you sound like someone's mother!!!! I suppose your "so called" racing sticker's and Graphic design's added 50WHP(jerkit)

Rigo Coils are moved to a new bracket provided by nology just below the oil cap . I will track mpg next few weeks a see if I continue to see improvement. Thanks Frank

Thanks, I'll be looking forward to your results. Was the nology install straightforward? Did the kit include everything required (sans the tools)? Sorry for all the questions, but as I'm sure you know the simplest mods can still be a pain. <O:p</O:p

no but i bet his turbo did you tool.

would people just chill the **** out, This board is getting real annoying. The actual value of the nology's is honestly debatable. Besides asthetics i think their true value is the relocation/replacement of the coil packs. All other wire setups only replace 2wires w/o changing the packs. I will recap previous discussions in saying that wire length increases probably arent detrimental... especially since there is increased shielding from em interference. Also what a dyno doesnt show is although 2hp might be negligible there could be an affect in engine and throttle response which an increase in fuel mileage could suggest. One example of this is intakes... many say that their contribution is unmeasurable on a dyno (usually only a couple hp at most) but they are necessary on a modded engine and will impact perf... if not hp # directly. so can everyone please stop this gay pissing contest.

Simple install. Hardest part removing old tape and wire loom from coil wires so they will reach new location. Also need 5 new bolts where grounds attach to valve cover ( they need to be 1/2 inch shorter than stock ).
