I didn't get into the twelves. I would have but the #4 connecting rod decided it didn't like itself anymore and commited suicide. That would have been fine and dandy but it decided it didn't like the block, starter, or turbo and decided to take them out on its way out.
Guess you weren't lucky as I was, my rod bent but I made it back to the shop. Now I have it as a trophy.

13 psi. is too deadly on stock internals. But If you are anything like I am, you must be smiling that you beat your time, even though you blew your motor.

Oh well... Closing day at the track, but it was way too cold....I can only pull off a 13.078 @ 115.104 MPH

Better Luck next year!!!

welllll best run for me today was 14.2 @ 101.5 (FMIC, SRI, 3" exhaust, FCD, 10psi) ... only 1 tenth faster than my previous best time but 3.5mph faster ... but the best part is ... i was on street tires hehe. last time i used Focus' slicks. I trapped 102.something once but did a 14.4 that run. had to stop racing cuz my clutch decided it was enough when i raised the boost to 12psi

so yep, i think that's it for this year. i'll be back next year with internals, gt28rs and nitrous hehe (hopefully)

Using the MPI for Management in conjunction with a J&S Safeguard for my mistakes, and an Innovate LM-1 for datalogging and tuning. But at least I did a nice run:

13.767 @ 101.027 at 9.5 lbs. boost

I twisted my rod on the next run, looking for 12lbs.
Attached is a picture of my new trophy!!!!!! (hand)
wOw 12PSI here.

I think the slicks loaded the engine more because it actually had to pull the car instead of just spinning. Because this was my normal set-up before the intake manifold. Of course it could have been the 11k of really hard friggin miles on it too.

The nice thing is the piston cocked in the bore, so the head is fine.

question . . . . . i just installed a new intercooler and my low boost setting went up to like 9.5 i have still have fuel cut issues but that's not my concern, umm when i was doing my burnout in first and second it spiked to 17.4 and the CEL came on after that, does anyone have a clue to why that is? . . . a few times after driving the car after the CEL came on, it went off tho so, and it runs fine under normal driving conditions so

some CEL go away after you turned off and started the car ~3 times

but you're lucky if nothing bad really happened after spiking to 17.4 .... focus bent a rod when his car spiked at 17

Well first off my computer is down at home.

Second off, I didn't get into the twelves. I would have but the #4 connecting rod decided it didn't like itself anymore and commited suicide. That would have been fine and dandy but it decided it didn't like the block, starter, or turbo and decided to take them out on its way out.

However I did manage to get 11 runs in before it decided it didn't like itself. Maybe that had something to do with it.

Best et. was 13.15 @ 105.4mph

Best 60' was 2.067

Both were done at 13psi.

can i see a pic or scan of the timeslip please... thanks :0

Side note- 13.8 @101 w/ new motor 9psi and street tires at englishtown

Went 2 saturdays ago. My father went down with the FAST (Factory appearing stock tires) cars.

We already did a video of the cuda this morning. Then it started raining so maybe sometime later this week I'll do a burnout video since you don't see them often from a protege.

For the non- believers....
