104 MPH @ 13.16 seconds

Mods: Magnusmotorsports.com 3 inch exhaust, Ion Performance FMIC & CAI, Turbosmart MBC, JoeP FCD.
1.9 sec 60ft time is great. How the hell did you get that??? I saw the MSP with almost 400hp run and he could not get close to that time. Only 12psi and the FCD to get that?

thats crazy only 12 psi. I was only in the low 14's with 12 psi. and I did about 20 runs. Maybe I should have you drive my car.

flywheel and 4 puck clutch.

he is one of the only msp owners with a lightened flywheel and aggressive clutch.

If memory serves me correctly Dean was still using stock clutch and flywheel.

That flywheel can really help.

I can't wait till mine comes in tuesday............already have my transmission out and waiting......

A light weight flywheel or 4 puck clutch will not help your short times at all..They will actually make it harder to get a good transition between slip and grip off the line..The only time a clutch will help your short times is if it is slipping while disengaged..The light flywheel will make you have to launch at higher rpm's in order to get the same effect as stock since you have less rotating weight/mass in the drivetrain..It will also make your make your rpm's increase and decrease quicker while in neutral along with a slight gain in acceleration..I have used a JUN chromoly flywheel before and noticed boost building 800 rpm's sooner the whole way through on my mitsubishi..The bad thing about light flywheels is that they do not dissipate enough heat and are prone to cracking/warping under the conditions it may experience while drag racing..It took me one trip to the track and 1000 miles to toast both a brand new CFDF clutch and JUN flywheel on a car that was making about 300hp, if even that much..
