door trim mod

I remember seeing a picture of a P5 with the trim removed from its doors, but I can't find it back (tried using search, no luck). I also remember it looking really sweet.

To those who have done this: how is it done? is it a permanent mod? can I see some more pics?

oof it looks pretty bad on the Protege5 if you ask me.. well I think it looks bad on any Protege. There's a reason Mazda covered it up, after all.

The problem with the Protege5 is that you can't remove all of it, some parts aren't covered with the black vinyl.

Wait wait.. are you talking about the bump strips on the doors or the black trim around the windows? My above comments refer to the latter.

Don't get me started on people who can't be bothered not to door ding other cars. I mean join the ******* human race scumbags! The side of my car is not an indicator that your door is now fully open!!

Anyway, removing the side molding is cool. Removing the black covering from the door trim makes me want to puke it looks so bad.

The side mouldings along the doors come off much better with heat. A hair dryer is your friend. Then use a rubber pinstripe remover wheel to rub off the excess glue residue.

shoulda put adhesive remover on her skirt type thong and got her to rub the adhesive off with her bum, hopefully by the time she was done her panties would have melted to the point of non existence but there already pretty close to disappearing
