wow just got a hold of Mike.

He is very surprised that I havent' received it....

He agreed to refund my money on Monday.....

Still waiting...

Alex- I'd start from the date that your check cleared and go from there. Personal checks take the longest to clear especially since it could take a while for it to reach him and for him to deposit it. A good rule of thumb is to start from the day that money is received into the merchant's account to start counting the days that you've been waiting. And another thing, being an authorized vendor doesn't automatically mean that you're trustworthy. Word of mouth is the best way of gauging a merchant's credibility. Communication is also a good way of seeing whether someone is trustworthy and doesn't have anything to hide. If they don't respond to your emails and calls simply don't do business with that company.

i realized this, but what im talking about is lack of communication doesn't mean you order isn't on its way. OH now you tell us u paid with a check, hrm that could be another reason waiting for it to clear as ^^ said.

point is alex has been contacted, so alex u really need to deny all claims of the scam. He is refunding you, if you get the cd changer u'll pay for it. so it wasn't a scam. just like i said all along dont claim its a scam unless you've given more than adiquate time and have proof to think otherwise.

Where'd ya get those DaveB. rings?
I DO support people on this forum. I've got an antenna from xelderx., my rims from GReddy917, tires from ACTS, shifter from Tom@kartboy,and I'm thinking about some gauge-rings from DaveB.
What I'm not doing is defending someone that ripped-off a friend(that's what I consider other members on this forum).
If travelinjunkie made any effort to contact alexitov at all, this would all be cleared up. But he hasn't and it's not.

***caution***
play with words all you like outcome is still the same.

Good eye Eggy, how more hypocritical does it get. Ryan, why do you insist? Let it go. Travelinjunkie either got into some s*** or just plain f-d up. Maybe it's a Maryland thing that you keep sticking up for him or something. But I'd like to put this to rest, so I'll rub your ego if it makes you feel better. Your right Ryan and we're all wrong. We suck and your the best (bow)

i dotn need a ego booster, but your right, i was right, and you guys dicked around the point and argued with me oh he's a scammer he's a scammer its not a maryland thing im not even originally from maryland, i just dont see a point in calling someone a scammer unless you got your facts straight, and have given the person more than adequate time. So point is its all settled and now put to rest.

For reading this whole thread and seeing how things unfolded, it's pretty obvious that a trust has been broken between the buyer and the seller. Both Alex and Ryan are right to a certain extend, both have really good point but the fact remains that the trust has been broken.

I run my business that trade goods in 40" container load, money wise I'm talking about at least a MSP ($20,000) worth of goods per container, profits to me in thousands, if at any point my supplier or my buyer hide from me for just 3 days I will take it to my lawyer and the contract is said to be broken. I understand a CD changer in comparing what I sell has a major different in price, but the binding contract between the buyer and the seller of the CD changer is still the same level as every buying and selling contract.

...Humm... what am I trying to say here.... oops, a sushi moment....

Oh yes, what I'm trying to say here, my personal opinion only, is that if travel has contacted Alex from the start this whole thread will be non-exsistance and in no doubt leave negative feedback with him for some people no matter how hard Ryan tried to explain the situation from the seller point of view. This comes to show how important communication is when you do business, big or small....

Just my personal opinion again, no offense to anyone I hope.... :P

yeah i agree with you mopiko, but from a business man standpoint you know that the statement "s*** happens" is very valid, sometimes things come up personal issues outside of the business world and you dont have access or a way of contacting the person.
but oh well, both points are valid.

Ryan, do understand though, that to Alex it is a loss, a big loss indeed, so while I understand "s*** happens", I do on the other hand understand Alex's frustration and I believe he is trying hard to be "oh well s*** happen" about it.
