Please note the "FAQ" and "Search" links above.

I have both intake and exhuast cams in (j-spec). The car does pull harder at around 4500 all the way to 5500. The best thing to install is adj. cam gears and dyno tune the car with the new cams.

I have them as well, and yeah they pulled better past 4000 rpm. Now that I went F/I they still pull very well but didn't real add any HP

And i wanna know do it made a lot different when you change the indiglo flywheel compare the stock ? and do you have a web site that i can buy the MSP cam and LSD and the adjustable cam gear ?

GGRRRRR DONT CALL IT A MSP CAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

msp = mazdaspeed protege. the mazdaspeed protege has the same cams as you!

been looking at shaneracing huh?

people people people, there is only 2 aftermarket cams available for our engines (ie not custom).

j-spec intake (although i (being an aussie) get this stock) is an upgrade for your intake cam.

mazdaspeed exhaust is an upgrade for your exhaust cam.

thats it! no mazdaspeed intake cams (no such thing), no j-spec exhaust cams (same around the world)

then why are jdm mazdaspeed cams being sold? i thought they had a higher lift for its turbo application.

a lighter flywheel is just going to give you more wheel spin.

i suggest you pm perfworks and ask about the custom cams they are just designing,

phattrax - because shaneracing are into false advertising.

it's exactly how i said it. there is only a jdm intake cam and a mazdaspeed exhaust cam. that's it. no if's, no but's.

So is it mean when we upgrade , we have to buy the JSPEC intake cam and MSP exhaust cam ? am i right ?

you are right, but like gcs says, mazdaspeed exhaust cam, not msp

personally i wouldnt bother getting them, i'd either go custom (like me) or wait for perfworks to get his cams out in the market place

yes definately custom ... i have already sent a stock exhaust cam to crower cams. SR motorsports does seem to bend the truth. First the mazdaspeed exhaust cam was discontinued. SR repinned intake cams to get the mazdaspeed exhaust cam which was as just mentioned really just the stock intake cam on the exhaust side. Perfworks will also be releasing a couple different cam sets. They are made to work together and the mild setup will probably show more gains than a jdm intake and ms exhaust cam.
