Disbelief in the amount of money I have spent!

Purchased so far:
FMIC - $900
SRI - $200
Tint - $125
Tires - $400
Gauges - $200
Various gauge pods - $140
--------------------------
Total > $2000

Allready owned about $400 in stereo stuff

Still to buy:
Custom catless midpipe - $60 (going in next week :) )
Down "J" pipe - possibly Hiboost - $130
EBC - $400
Sound deadening materials - $150
Carputer system - $1000
Front Motor Mount - $100?
Exhaust hangers - $100?
----------
Total - $2000

All together I plan on spending about $4000-$5000 along with normal upkeep. Not too bad.

Of course there was also the $12,000 in damages I did on my car, but I only had to pay $500 for repairs and $300 for a rental.

ive spent around 5k :(:(:( including the MAM fmic kit i payed for.but after this im gonna start taking it easy( ya right ). my limit is 20k haha.

I've mapped out my plans for the summer in Excel but I usually don't buy a part unless I sell something of equal value first. For a poor college student, the system works pretty well. Getting a nice fat check from the insurance company representing the person who nearly totalled my car helps the mod fund, too :)

to get to 13.7- 800.
to get to 13.4- 1400
to get to 13.15- same 1400. just loaned some tires.
this year mid to low 12.'s- total 3300. Thats not including the stuff I have bought as extras or anything I have sold to deduct.

I'm at about 2300-2500. I'm estimating about at least another 1500 by the summertime.

wow guys...heres my expense chart

-tints $110
-ventshades $40
-rain-x - $3.99

I was bored tonight, and decided to do something, no one who modify's cars should ever do. I added up the cost of everything I have purchased to modify/rebuild my car since its purchase. I'm not trying to brag here, but I honestly could not belive how much money I actually spent on this damn car. Considering that I still have to pay a little over 10k off on the loan its a little daunting. My summer job will pay the car off so i'm not worried, but when I put it in this perspective, I honestly think i need consuling. I find that I dont go out and eat, or buy groceries, and i just buy car parts. They should make pills for this s***.

Grand Total Spent on Rebuild So Far:
Parts: 9344.25 (I still need endlinks, and about 300.00 more worth of misc crap)
Labor: 800.00

Grand Total: OH s***!

So what have you guys spent? I didnt think i had spent this much, but umm, yep, it happened.

you are the opposite of me...I paid $250 for my 92 protege, $100 on 2 doors (hit), and $150 on a newexedy clutch kit on ebay....grand total= 1/4 of what i could sell it for :) on a good day... I need those pills too, but for the other end of the scale :D... but then this is about the 200th car ive done this with in the past 12 years I am 33 :(

my car owns me! :) spread sheet and all the receipts!
