Different Backfire (maybe) issue

very tru tho, i back fire all the time, since i installed a turbosmart bov along w the sri cobb intake, i hate to say it but i think im losing some HP on those nasty backfires?

I'm begining to think this is a problem with the MS3. Of course I'm not ruling out any other causes, but if you've changed any of your intake/vac/boost tubes/hoses, double check them. Also check your Spark plugs, mine have come out pretty dirty a few times and I use Shell V-Power Fuel, I wonder if this is an ongoing issue with many MS3's.

i don't think its a problem, just running a little rich ...

try resetting ECU and let it relearn again. Im running VTA and i hardly backfire at all. And if i do, its a little pop that i only probably heard because i had no radio on.

I agree, mine is'nt crazy, does'nt even happen all the time. but I will try that ECU reset. I'm running VTA as well.

I get the same thing too, but only since doing the 2 resonator delete mod. Although I never had issues with this when stock.
