Difference between MP3 & P5?

What are the differences between the stock 2.0L P5 engine and the MP3? Can the P5 engine have it's pcm reflashed (or chipped) to pick up the 10 HP increase of the MP3?

It's in the ECU. YOu can swap over the MP3 ECU to your pro5. I do know there is a member who recnetly purchased the hardware and software in attempt to reflash the stock Pro5 ECU to MP3 specs.

One major diff. is the ECU. I don't know all the specifics about the MP3 ECU but I do know it requires the use of premium fuel and is highly sought after by many P5 owners.

u can only use the mp3 ecu on a standard p5. for autos it wont work. people sell that ecu on these boards once in a while or u can buy it from the dealer for choke price though haha

Are you asking what the wheels are in the Pic your showing? BTW erase the second [/IMG] in the code and it won't show up on the screen. use the Preview Post button to keep checking until you've got it.(2thumbs)

I know you can fit the msp springs on the p5 so I would imagine that that struts would fit as well. However isn't the rear of the p5 a lot heavier then the msp theirfor causing the ass end to sag alittle with msp springs?
