Major differences between 2020 and 2022 Miata?

Hi. I just lost my Mazda3 and would like to keep having a mazda so I'm looking at going into the miata rf.

I like the interior of the 2020 GT trim with the beige color going across the dash, and was curious why they took it out of the newer models for a black dash with matching thread trim.

Beyond that, are there any major inclusions to the 2022 model that would should make me consider ignoring cosmetics? I am really into nice safety features that assist with awareness around the vehicle like blind spot monitoring.

@Virgil I think the main difference is that new for 2022 MY is Kinematic Posture Control. Take a look at the Car & Driver website, they list by model year the new features. https://www.caranddriver.com/mazda/mx-5-miata-2022
