Difference between 2003 and 2003.5

What is the difference between the 2003 and the 2003.5 P5's

I don't think anything significant...

the Mazdaspeed's recieved new front and rear bumper pieces, Anthracite wheels, and other color options (some other stuff too)...

the Sedan and P5 didn't get anything that I know of...some differnt warranty policies were addressed during the half year closing, but I don't know anything much other than that...

Side markers, and different rim options. Also the spare tire woofer thing, well, atleast none of these were on my 2003 P5.

I have sidemarkers on my 2002.5

I think the differences are the subwoofer, roof rack and the wheels.

Yeah but you have side markers infront of the wheel, they have clear ones higher, and behind the wheel well.

NO. I have sidemarkers next to my door. Behind the fender. And they are clear.

The only P5's that didn't have them where the original 2002's, the 2002.5's and newer all have the sidemarkers.

The reason the sidemarkers where added was because DOT said there had to be either a corner light, which the P5 does not have, or add a side marker, which Mazda did, but not untill after some cars where already shipped.

roof rack for me was a 250.00 option...

at least some delete plates came in tha hatch to take that noisy ****** off...

i liked it..but i didnt like it...

i was curious how the half year models worked out, but didnt want to ask h@H

I have a 2003.0 with a roof rack (standard) and I was told the sub-woofer was NOT an option.

Doesn't the newer P5 have different type of rims as well,like a more sharper spoke on the 5 spoke as opposed to the rounder spokes on the 2k2 like the one I got???

they changed that during the mid cycle refresh. i bought my 2002.5 in august of last year and it had the straight spokes. it also has tweeters in the sails. oh, and i got the sportshift. fun stuff. not.

Built in changer has been around for a while.

the rear sidemarkers (the ones that blink) were added in 02.5, as were the newer wheels.

Sorry you payed 50 for the cargo tray, I payed 30 at the parts counter and the guy put it in while he was cleaning the car durring the paper signing. I personaly don't like the way the car looks without the rack or rails. I do like the fact that they were changing the car every so often during the years. It means we all kinda have a unique car amongst our mp5 family.
