I had the same problem! The black leather on the top of my shift knob is also starting to peel off!!:mad: I try and keep my car super clean and am always carefull to check labes and buy non harsh cleaners. Anyone else had this problem?

mines doing the same thing, i think its just the leather. I use meaguires stuff, ive used it on the steering wheel and having now problems. IM going to my dealer at lunch and talk to them, my drivers floor mat is also coming apart. the part for you heels to rest on is coming off. time to take advantage of the 6 year warranty again.

Hmmm weird....my knob still looks brand new...actually my entire interior is still pretty much new looking...I'll cross my fingers that I don't get that problem I guess.

just one of those weird things. I allready went to the dealership the Supervisor looked at it and said ok we will call you when they get in, put them and thats it. i got lucky and actaully found a GOOD dealership

hey i might be getting a new shift knob soon to put on, and i just got my vehicle a few months ago and my leather knob is in perfect shape. how much are u willing to pay?

Depends what it is worth to you. I'm not sure what the factory part price is, so it all depends what it is worth to you.

Yeah I can't believe that damn shift knob it's wearing out already, I plan on changing mine and the shift boot.

went Thurs. to have mine replaced after I printed this page,the dealer said ahh s*** ok well change it out. I guess thats all it takes is one dealer to change something and someone post it.So keep everyone informed. Thanks guys
