Diagnostic code anyone?

I don't have a list of codes for the OBDII system, but I can tell you how to retrieve them. Look under the hood just in front of the master clyinder on the left side for the flip top diag. connector. Take a small piece of wire or a paper clip and jump between the GND and TEN terminals, then turn on the ignition and watch the check engine light flash the codes. It does it in two digit flashes just like any other OBDII. I don't think they're the same as the 90-97 miata's diag codes but they might be. Check on www.miata.net in the garage section and there is a code listing there for those codes. They may be similiar enough to get you close.

I'll try that 20ESGUY.

By the way, it's nice to chat with a felow motorcycle. I got a 01 Yamaha FZ1.

Yeah, talking bikes is something i don't get to do much where I live. Unfortunately I've got to sell mine. I really don't want to cause I love my ducati, but times are gettin a little tight.

To bad that you have to sell it. Ducati are realy good bikes. I had a Duc 750ss a few years ago. Realy nice bikes!

20ESGUY, I have looked at the diag. connector and it's probably different of the ES model. My diag. connector is on the right side of the master cylinder. It's a gray box with a flip cover and a coonector under the cover. When you say the TEN terminal, what do you mean (my english speaking is not perfect). Is it the tenth whire from the pin #1? If so, where is the #1? I saw nothing indicating wire number. Do you know which wire color I need to jump?

Here's a picture of it:

Thanks!
