Has anybody had any experience with dent sport garage in Norwood, MA? I have been emailing about getting some work and a tune done on my speed6 and they seem to be pretty knowledgeable of our cars.

my bf told me about them...they know mirages...built one of his friends mirage i believe. he said they're the only shop he'd ever take his car too :)

I have heard of them recently at the garage I go to in Hyannis.

Also KTR?

Don't use Pruven in CT

I've heared bad things about pruven also.

I work in norwood. Maybe i can swing by their shop and see whats up. Maybe i'll get my msp tuned their rather than traveling to NH.

where do you live? i don't think i've seen a white ms6 around the area lately but i've heard pretty good things about dsg. my buddy took his is300 there to get an intake and some other stuff installed and said they were pretty cool and very knowledgeable. plus, they have an awd dyno =) i've thought about going there to get my ms6 tuned too but the last i heard they haven't figured out the mazda ecu yet to use their openecu program on. that was a little while ago though so i don't know. let me know if you plan on swinging by to talk to them though cuz i could always make it there on the weekends or whenever.

If things work out let me know. I will be looking for one soon as well.

I have never dealt with DSG specifically and i doubt that this will be of much use to many of you but just and FYI if i understand correctly Bill from DSG is a former member of the Rys Millen GTX rally effort and he specializing in drivetrain work. So if you are having issues with your AWD gearbox or you want to try and strengthen it before you start having issues he is a great resource.

redcoat , where do you work? I'm on Rt 1 in the norwood industrial park. I was going to swing my msp over at the end of the week and talk to them as well.

I work at the Saturn dealership on Rt.1 just after RoJo's gas station. You wouldn't happen to have a grey MSP, would you? I see one going past the store almost every day, sometimes stopping at the liqour store next door.

I'm going to try to stop by Dentsport tomorrow...

I live in Framingham, work in Boston. I will let you guys know how it turns out in the next few weeks once I get some parts in the car and get my tune done

i could do that if these shops are open on Saturday?

I was planning on leaving it somewhere for a couple days because I want to have the whole turbo-back put on and they either need to get really clever with their hands or take the turbo off to get the S-Pipe on which takes a while as I understand it.

I also have a stud in the turbo that locked up and got sheared off during the last attempt at this install so that needs to be replaced which might take some time also.

I went to Dentsport today and spoke with Bill, who mentioned that he worked on the Mazda team a few years ago. They, apparantly, worked on a P5 with up to 240hp back in the day.
It looked like a busy shop. Lot's of neat cars including an original Mini Cooper (the ones you Americans didn't get). I also took a look at their conterweighted shift knobs which looked like a nice piece, but won't be available for a few more weeks.

Nice dude, I'll be checking it on mondy or tuesday next week looks like. I do own a titanium speed but i havent drove it to work yet. I jsut started driving it around my home town of middleboro. Needs tires, knock sensor, and an inspection sticker. That will all be taken care of tomorrow or sat. So it looks like a decent shop? I hope they do good work cause i dont want my brand new motor blown up.

I went to the KTR shop to pick up some snow tires that I use on my MX-5. Great looking shop with a ton of sweet race cars. Nice building, nice work area's, very neat and organized. I wouldn't worry about taking my car to them if I had a vintage race car or lived in the area.

Funny that 2 posters in this thread work in Norwood- I also work in Norwood at Analog Devices- behind the Porsche/Audi dealer. Give me a wave if you see my silver Miata driving by! :)

Or stop by the Saturn dealership on Rt.1 (across the road from you) and ask for me! I also have an '03 P5.
