DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

Okay, so after freezing outside, I reversed the wires due to reverse polarity and bingo!!

Now after buying 4 kits from DDM - I decided to do the following:

Protege 5
Lows - H7 4500k 55w kit - Too bright for Halogen Headlight - Trading down to 35w Kit.
Fogs - H3 3000k 55w kit - Don't want to cut hole in brand new fog lights - Returning. Staying with my PIAA Ion Yellow Bulbs!!

Mazda 3
Lows - H7 4500k 35w Kit - Tested Kit and works fine.
Fogs - H11 4500k 35w Kit - Tested Kit and works fine.

Great product from DDM. Hopefully return & exchange will go smoothly.

I thought u already reversed the wires and got nothing?

I think my original problem was that when I loosened the Positive terminal on the battery, the connection wasn't strong enough for them to work.

I now adjusted them with the allen wrench and they worked!!

Has anyone found andy H3C HID Kit for the P5 fog lights...? THE DDM Kit does not offer this size bulb....?

Any thoughts...?

yea i'm a little late on this and wrong car but do you all happen to know what kit and bulbs i might need for a regular mazda 6 w/ non HID bulbs?

as I've said twice now, I have one on my H4 kit, don't have one on my gf's 9006 kit. both seem to work fine. a lil insurance never hurts.

Lol people keep asking I they should buy the harness. It's friggn 15 bucks. Not like youre going to pay out the ass for a little insurance. All cars are different and I'd rather have one inseateaf of finding out I need one after installing the hids and paying/waiting for shipping.

I find it odd that you're running short on wiring, where are you putting the ballasts? You are using a relay harness right?

Yea. I'm not running short I don't think. I havent started the retrofit yet, but I did hookup everything for a test firing. Everything works. Was just curious about the extension harness is all...

Gotcha. If you need an extension that link you posted should work just fine.

What if you just extend the wires to meet your needs, then maybe you don't need the extenders right....?

just received my 3 sets of HIDs
installed the hi 55w 6000k
low 35w 5000k on the winter-protege5
they are awesome !
ill put them on the summer-protege5 this spring also with the 35w fogs 3000k
ddnt bothered putting the fogs in on the winter-protege5.

Has anyone had any issues with these lights flickering? my 35w low beams wouldn't turn on today, and once I started driving, they turned on, but proceeded to randomly turn off then right back on a handful of times. They have been working perfectly for the last 2-3 weeks. I am using a wiring harness, so they are getting enough juice. Could it be a short somewhere?
