DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

so can i still get these for the price on the first post? if so i would def like to get a hid kit!!! i have a 03 protege dx, so the h4's hi/lo will fit right?

Just installed my HID's and one fire's up for a few seconds then cuts out! The other is fine. I ended up just leaving one HID in my car, and put the stock back in

Any idea's why one HID only fires up for a few seconds, then cuts out. I switched everything around to see if maybe it was the ballast, but its not. Looks like a bad HID bult IMO. Hopefully I can replace it for a new one ASAP!
you didnt touch the bulb did you?

yes go to DDM tuning and get the raptor kit

but my brother just ordered a set and he got an email saying they were back ordered
prob. cuz everyone in this thread buying them LOL

I've been on other forums for mustangs and various cars and DDM tuning is a popular site. I first heard about DDM when I had a Chevy truck a couple years ago. Having the cheapest HIDs on the internet is probably the real reason why they are back ordered.

Anyone in this thread happen to order H4's? DDM said the only kits that come with glare shields is the H4. Just wanna confirm...

define overkill lol
itll be bright as **** but you will be able to see which is what u wanted in the first place

i dont think you would need the fogs in HID, the headlights are really bright by themselves

I just ask because I think my fog lights are starting to burn out as fast as my headlights and it seems to be cheaper to switch to HID rather than stick with the OEM

These still on back order?

My mom is 56, she has trouble seeing at night, she drives an 00' nissan maxima.
I want to buy her HIDs for christmass, just so she can see better at night.
Whats the best color to get for the best see-ability?
Should I get 55w? I know their mainly for off roading, but it sounds like they would be a heck of a lot better than the 35w's. It might be over kill, but it would help her, Right?

If you don't care about blinding other drivers, 55w is for you. Personally, I went 35w HID's 4500k which should be the brightest and not be overkill. I live in city, with lots of traffic.

Is the blinding effect really that bad? I guess 35w will be fine

My friend has a '00 Maxima and it has factory HIDs, make sure her's doesn't before you order.

It's not teeeeerrible persay. It's just if the other car is higher like a lifter truck for example or if they didn't make an attempt to aim them down then it's gunna suck. Especially if they're lights are level with your back window
