If it works for you then its all good! I guess if I ever want to flash somebody who might be blinding me then I'll have that option. Thats the only real reason I got the hi/low kit. Guess its not that bad if you don't mind an extra $20 bucks.![]()
great pictures. did you have to aim it down alot from stock settings?
now if only someone could post the 55w low beams. I know everyone says its too bright but I have yet to see a picture posted of a p5 with'em.
I saw in one of these 20 pages you said you live in OC about 70 miles from the DDM warehouse correct? I googled it and im 68 miles exactly. We might just be neighbors!![]()
some pics. ;ow beams are 35w 4500k, fogs are 35w 3000k with no yellow fog film thing. last pic is just the low beams with no fogs.
my little brother says its illegal to get HIDs and keep my stock lamp housing, because my headlight housing isn't made for HIDs, and the reflectors will blind people.
Is this true? Do I need to buy a new headlight housing inorder to install HIDs?
would this be true for my mom's 00' niassan maxima as well? She doesn't have HIDs.

That may be true, but I don't think 75% of the people that put in aftermarket HIDs get projector housing. I would bet good money that those people don't experience too much hassle from cops too especially if the HIDs are properly aimed (down).
yeah, I don't think your average cop would be able to spot a 4000K HID... 10000K on the other hand and you're askin for it.
I thought HID's were legal? (in NJ)
but its illegal to have them in the wrong housings
