DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

Alright :/ i'll try my best, but wtf is goop?

Not hard at all once you open up your fog light housing and can see everything that I was talking about. Goop is a silicone adhesive. Any clear silicone adhesive or sealant would work, thats just what I had laying around.

I installed my DDM Tuning HID kit tuesday night. So far so good.

I ordered 4500k bulbs and the optional battery harness. Install was pretty easy and straight forward but took me about 4 hours simply because I'm super anal. The only glitch I had was when hooking up the passenger bulb, apparently I had a plug in upside down, so it kept blowing fuses. Another once over from a friend cleared that problem up. Something so simple as flipping the socket was all it needed. They look great and pretty decent quality, especially for the price and the life time warrantee. I'm a happy customer.

Headlights, as hard as it is to put in regular bulbs. Fogs, cutting and drilling is required, but not hard at all.

What bulbs did you get? The H3C are recommended due to their shorter length whereas the H3's do have some issues. Can't recall anyone ever cutting and drilling before though?

Problem with H3C's are that hardly anyone carries them.

I got the H3 bulbs... didn't know that there were H3Cs. I only cut the old wires because I didn't want to mess around with the ground wire and the clip thing that holds down the bulb. By cutting the old wires, I didn't even have to remove the clip.

As for drilling, you may not have to, not sure. The two plugs coming from the bulb might fit through the hole that is already in the fog light housing. I just drilled mine out big enough so that the grommet that comes with the new lights would fit.

H3C bulbs are generally terrible. When I was selling the Techone kits, they
had a tendency to blow out easily. I thought it was just the kits I was selling but when I did a little research it seemed everyone was having problems.

The H3's fit, even in the small sedan housings, but it takes patience to get
everything to seal properly.

The problem is that I'm not installing mine till sometime in March because I have inspection coming up. How do u open up the foglights though?

Once you get the lights off by removing the nuts that are holding them on (only 1 on each) and unplugging them, there are 2 screws in the back that hold glass lens on. Inside, you will see that the ground wire runs underneath a clip of sorts that grounds out the original bulb and also holds the bulb in place.

On another note, next time I do anything that isn't direct replacement, I will be taking tens of pictures. (rockon)
