I've got this amazing troubleshooting tool, it's called YouTubeGood to know! How were you able to trace it to the plugs/coils? I'd be stumped after fuse/battery.

This would be one of those cases where the car needs to be driven with a really good reader plugged into the odb port, so that a wide range of parameters can be monitored and checked in real time.
That will shown for example, if fuel pressure is maintained within specs at higher speeds under load.
So unless your dealer service department did that, they haven’t done sufficient testing and diagnosis.

Dealer didn't seem to want to find any thing that might cost them money. Already had them look at it. These car's have a history of fuel pump problems, so you could be onto something. I might have difficulty getting them to do any further diagnosis unless it's done legally. Waiting for a reply from a certified letter I sent to the general manager of the place. If he doesn't respond, I can pursue other options.

It isn't actually clear to me that his car stalled on the highway as the title states.
He says he didn't notice it was off until after he stopped. And he says it didn't take a lot of effort to stop or steer the car from the left lane to the right shoulder.
If you've ever tried to move the car with the engine off, you'll know that steering and braking are very hard--I can't imagine stopping this car without the power brakes from highway speed.
There's just no way that I would not notice that the engine wasn't running because of the other effects that it would have.
I hate to sound like I don't believe the OP, but I'm just going off what information we have. I truly hope the car is fine and safe to drive.

be interesting to know what the transmission would actually do as well. Maybe @sinistriel@ will weigh in as he would know how the transmission would react to the engine stalling at speed..
You weren't there. Completely different scenario if the car is going 75 mph when it stalls. Do you think it just comes to an abrupt stop. After you have been driving almost everything on the road for 62 years, then maybe you can will have a better knowledge of physics and momentum. In the meantime...

The situation you've described is certainly odd behavior and one I've never heard of (as you've described stalling after radar cruise applied brakes ) on these forums. On the other hand, I have ready several or maybe even many threads of folks not completely understanding how to best get along with the modern "driver assist" features of these modern cars.

In the event of an engine stall the transmission will slip into neutral because there is no hydraulic pressure being made at that point.

There is no need for this. Other members are trying to understand the situation with the information provided. As far as I can tell, observations made by previous posters have been completely objective and not disrespectful. Let's try to keep it that way moving forward.
When my integrity is questioned, I will always defend myself. And, please try and stay up to date on the messages. The "No one really cares" comment was deleted as I realized it was a little too much. Since everything happened EXACTLY as I said it did, I don't appreciate any questioning as to what really happened.
By the way, who are you? The official monitor of comments? Unless the message was directed at you, it's really none of your business. Who are you to tell anyone that they are right or wrong?

No one was questioning your integrity. They were making objective observations that you may have inferred as a personal attack.
This is a flowing discussion with people viewing and replying to your comments in real time. When you posted the original unedited comment, another poster quoted it in the reply they were typing up, before you had the chance to edit it. That's why their post had the unedited quote.
It's normal to ask clarifying questions when trying to help diagnose an issue. Often, people may forget to mention something because they thought it was unrelated. Nobody was trying to poke holes in your story - they were actually trying to "connect the dots".
