CX-5 Photos - Share your shots with us!

I always give the dealer a choice: don't put any of your branding on my vehicle, not even a dealer license plate cover, or take an additional $500 off to have me advertise for you. So far, they've always left the branding off, they've never taken the extra $500 off, guess they don't want to pay for advertising.

You can add your photo, as usual. Then open it and copy the link. Then edit your thread and select add an image and paste that link, that you have copied.

Wish I could have told them to remove the SkyActive badge as well.

You could do it yourself. If the badge is stuck on with double stick, you can try some thin mono-filament fishing line. Work it behind the badge and move the fishing line up and down as you pull it along the badge.
Clean up any glue residue with lighter fluid (naphtha).

No issues with the paint or getting the adhesive removed?

Messing around is PS. Gave it more of a Cinema feel. Plus a couple of easter eggs.

2016 CX-5 on the way to Germany. Totaled the 2014 at the beginning of the month and had to reach back to my dealership in the US for a replacement.

I must say, as far as accidents go, this car performed perfectly. I'm a Mazda owner for life.

Hit by a GI? or? Man if I was back in Germany I wouldn't be buying one stateside; I'd be getting the diesel lol. Bring that s*** back to the states when your tour is done.. Where abouts? I lived in Kiaserslautern/Ramstein and Rhein-Main before it closed.

No Mazda military sales here. We dislike the fugly CRV, RAV4, or Tiguain. And BMW only makes cars as far as I'm concerned..It's the wife's car, and she wanted nothing but another CX-5

Bought the car about a week and half ago and just completed the first exterior detail! I had light swirl marks from the crappy dealer wash they did after hours before I drove it home. I started with a full clay bar on the car and I corrected those swirls with a DA polisher and Meguiars Ultimate Polish on a polishing pad. I then sprayed the car down with a 15% isopropyl alcohol solution to remove any residue from the polish and did a Turtle Wax ICE Shine lock sealant treatment. I was going to do optimum gloss coat but found the Ice sealant for $15 with a $10 mail in rebate so I gave it a shot. I finished with a coat of Liquid ICE wax. I like the ICE wax has it can be applied right over the black trim and doesn't leave white residue. It actually says to apply to the trim. All in all I'm happy with how it turned out but my arms are quite sore now. Tomorrow I will be doing the interior. I plan on vacuuming the carpets and treating with scotchguard and treating the interior with 303 aerospace protectant. I also have a liquipel treatment for the windows that I will be doing.
