CX-5 fully lifted on jack stands?

2016.5 CX-5 GT AWD (Mousse)
Hi folks.

Has anyone lifted both the front and rear of the CX-5 to put it on 4 jackstands? I want to paint the calipers and would like to remove all four wheels at the same time.

Cheers!

I do this when rotating the tires.
There is a jack point under the front and rear.
Owners manual tells you where they are.

Yes I saw the front and rear lift points, but you actually put 4 jack stands underneath? Thats info I couldn't find in the manual.

Do it all the time to rotate tires. The front of the car is heavier so I raise the front first, and put the front jack stands under it then do the back. It probably makes no difference however. I am scared to go under the car when it is up on 4 jack stands, the couple times I went under the car I put a bunch of extra things under the car so it wouldn't crush me if two jack stands happen to fail at the same time. Two extra stands, cinder block with wood etc.

How large it the designated lift area? (pinch weld I'm guessing) Since 2 object can't occupy the same space at the same time, don't you have to jack at one place then place the jack stand next to it (can't be in the exact same place at the same time)

Jack @ front crossmember and rear diff.
Place jackstands(with rubber pads) @ pinchwelds.

Edit: may not be safe to do after the car is over 8 to 10 years old.
Especially if rocker's are rusted.

If you ever go to junkyard they just use the old rims to support the car.

2 reasons, the rims are conveniently there and cinder block can fail( and on occasion completly crumble)

Cinder blocks used to be made of concrete and ash(and extremely weak). Some Cinder blocks still made like that. But also, whenever a concrete company has a hot load or other rejected concrete(weak, watery, etc.) they take it back and make cinder blocks. Either way, Cinder and concrete blocks are weak.

Not something you want you car sitting on while your under it.

Go to the junkyard and get yourself a used rim or two. Add a short 4x4
block on top and your all set.(if you need higher, add flat 2x8 under the 4x4...
rim, 2x8, 4x4)
Use the jackstands for your main support and then the rims/wood as backup support.
