Custom Shift Boot for Stock/Kartboy

i'm interested if you have any of the yellow thread left. I want to get rid of the dirt gathering hole the stock boot creates.

lol im still wondering what i would want mine to say.

I can't help you with what to put on it, but I have yellow, orange and grey thread that I highly recommend. I also have blue thread, but I really think it is too dark for the black vinyl, but another member wanted it enough to send me the thread, so some might like it.

I really liked my plain and simple MAZDASPEED one I used to have, but the diamond pattern made me ditch it.

So, sounds like we'll have a group buy going then...unless we can't find one more person in two weeks. I'll have to get the AMM set back up, but last time it was quick.

Anyone have any ideas for THEGOLDPRO?

Any chance you can offer these in real leather for a little more money? I got your vinyl one and think it's totally perfect except for it's not leather. The vinyl is cracking in 1 spot already for me.

I would, but I have no idea where to get leather or how it is to work with. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I kinda have my doubts that the boot is going to fit your 99 right. Unless I'm clueless, which is possible. Does your boot attach at the base the same as the MSP/P5?

Looks like I probably am clueless. Just took a look and saw that a 99 is a third gen. So, unless they made some dumb revision, never mind.

Yup, that boot is the other one I'm referring to. Delivery_Guy, any chance you could PM shaundarbie and ask him about working with leather and where to get it? I actually have BOTH your boot and his boot. Overall your boot is better, with the 1 exception being his is leather. I don't really like his boot however because the orange thread isn't quite as good a match to the MSP orange, and also the short shifter version of his boot still has too much of a "grand-canyon" effect for me. Yours is perfect size. I'd buy another one from you if you could figure out how to do it in leather.

I'm not too sure how shaundarbie would feel about me asking him to tell me how to make my product even better. I know I wouldn't give a competitor much help, but that's just me.

After finals I'll see what I can do for the leather. But, unless I extend the groupbuy, which I hated when iON did on their 3" TB exhaust, it won't be part of this groupbuy. I'll let you know if I find anything and I'll be sure to post it in the thread.

Cool. I'll let you know too if I find anything out. But it will be after the group buy is over. Unless every one involved so far wants it extended, then I guess I could do that.

That's not to say that I'll have any luck finding or working with leather.
