Same way but the stock boot part where it goes into the knob is a TINY bit too big to fit... mabey you could sand mine down or use a smaller part. If it has a smaller diameter across the part that goes into the stock one, chances are it will work.

That shouldn't be a problem. When you order, just put a note or send me a PM to remind me please. Also, if you could get me a measurement of the inside diameter, I'd feel better about that. Otherwise, I can't really guarantee it'll fit.

is it okay to get the orange stitching down the side but NOT have it say mazdaspeed on it? will the price still be $45 shipped?

Just a little update-

I'm going out of town for a long weekend to Dallas, so any urgent shift boot needs will have to wait until Monday.

But for everyone that contacted me saying you're interested in a shift boot, I'm planning on raising the price to $50 when I get back.

Just wanted to give you all an opportunity to order at the lower price. Feel free to send in orders while I'm gone.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Joe

thanks tito1..
guess i'll be the judge of that when it comes in since I already ordered it.

I don't know if I am blind and have no sense of feel, but the quality was excellent and the vinyl was very nice. Fit like a glove. I get compliments all the time on it.

hazexban..
thanks for restoring my confidence.. i'm sure it will be very nice! A great guy to deal with.. very very friendly!!!

I am glad to help. I am very objectionable I think, you can read a post about how I was very unhappy with the fogs/bracket I bought from the guy who made them for the 03.5 mazdaspeed.

That being said, the shift boot is very nice, went on easy, and there were excellent directions included. He also made this for me in the middle of his final exams, great Vendor!

Sorry to jump in, but I purchased these, and never put them in because the quality is VERY poor. Joe is nice, and the service was no problem, but they do not even match up to the stock boot.

The vynl just looks and feels like crap.

Tito

Dude, I don't know what kind of crack you're smoking, but I never sold you a boot. I've never sold a boot to anyone in Santa Cruz for that matter. So, thanks for the feed back, even if it's from your imagination.

If I'm wrong about selling you a boot, then I guess you ordered with a different screen name and had it shipped somewhere else. If that's the case, let's hear it.

I guess you did get one thing right though, I am a nice guy.

Have a great day

Joe

YAY.. positive rep points for Delivery_guy.. :D

Thanks. Also, as soon as I can sneak out of the office for a minute your boot is in the mail. You should get it in two to three days.

Thanks to both of you. What a joke...Tito1! Actually made my day.

Anyway, thanks again!

i got a shift boot from Delivery Guy a while ago when they barely came out and i am extremely happy with it and have no issues. it looks great and i think it is awesome. the quality is superb.

The boot is 100 times better than the stock boot fit and material. I don't think it could have been better.

yes, i haven't gotten around to getting my STS yet (i got the kartboy boot) so i haven't had a chance to install it, but i am MORE than happy with the way mine turned out, it is exellent quality and i can't wait to get it put in, i am the lone blue stitching enthusiast and it turned out great IMO, i just got my good digital camera back so i will be getting some shots of it soon, and once i get my kartboy shifter i'll have some shots of it installed as well...

1 more rep point for joe, GREAT guy, GREAT vendor, GREAT product, noone should be apprehensive about dealing with him whatsoever (thumb)

Yeah I just actually sold my boot. I had it for like 4 or 5 months I thought the quality was excellent and the vinly was a 100x better quality than stock. The only reason i sold was i installed the perrin sts which is actually taller in height than the stock shifter. so i had to put my old boot back on. Oh well.

Sorry to hear you had to sell it, I hope you made a profit!

I've been in on and off talks with a guy about making boots for the Perrin, but they haven't ever gone any where. But if they do...I'll let you know.
