So is this a go or what? I'm ready to put in my Kartboy SS but I want to wait for this to come in.

Not so sure if ArrestYellow really wants to spent $40 to save $5, but other than that, yeah. I am planning on doing a run of boots right after finals. The question is whether we get enough people for the group buy or not.

Yes, they are..probably not a good idea to try and get this set up during finals week, but whatever. Just add your self to the list that is floating around a few posts up.

Sorry for the slow reply...need 5 to have the price be $40. Which it looks like we have. Finals end Friday. Why I thought it would be a good idea to have this GB running during finals...I don't know, so sorry about that.

The status of leather is still the same, I won't even be able to start looking into it until after this weekend.

Sorry about the lack of updates. Looks like we have enough people for the GB, I'll send out payment info Friday evening. As for waiting for the boot to do your SS install. I'd say go ahead and install it. The boot will only take 5-30 minutes on it's own.

Group Buy Status

Alright, so it's not Friday afternoon, but here's the deal anyway.

The group buy looks like it is set. If you could paypal me $40 I can get started on the orders. Once I get payment from everyone, I'll get them all started and should be able to finish them quickly.

When you send in the paypal, make sure to include a shipping address and it would be nice if you could include your user name so I can keep track of who is getting which boot.

Also, I'll be calling around a little this weekend to see if I find a local place that has leather.

Called around to all the local fabric chains and none of them carry leather. I'll have to start calling all the smaller shops next. Anyone have any idea where you can buy leather by the square foot?
