Current Engine bay pics everyone

Circuit, your engine bay makes me miss my P5 all over again as well as make me jealous. Where'd you find the Carbing bar from and how'd you set the distribution block up on top of the battery like that?

Aww thanks! The Carbing bars (I have the rear too) can be sourced from any Carbing/Tein dealer, but you just have to wait a few months to get them. The distribution block is made by Tsunami specifically for optima batteries (forget the size #, but it is way bigger than stock Protege and I had to fab a custom tray for the bottom mount for the battery.

Thanks. Its pretty common to get 280-300 at the wheels with only 7-8 psi of boost. My sig has a link to my build thread for more info, I don't update it very often, but there's still a ton of info.
 
So pope, who did you beat with the air filter?

In a previous life the filter was crammed in a space much too small for it. It was on the shelf and just happened to fit. Its a real K&N so I never had the heart to throw it away even though its a little rough.
 
About the only thing I don't like about my current engine bay, besides how dirty it is, is that ugly stock coolant overflow tank. Maybe one of these days when I have cash for non-speed parts I'll get that changed. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with how "clean" it is
