Current CPE standback owners/users

Judging from articals on direct injection motors, these motors are meant to run leaner up top than the good ol' tuning tradition (mid 11's).

Time to call OCT, APR, GIAC and anyone else that makes chips/flashes for the 2.0t. (attn)

And, if I recall correctly the SAFC 2 has more tuning points than the new NEO. (Waiting for the results from that install. (drive2))
Waiting for 11.** with your new setup. (attn)

YES. the safc 2 has more tuning points than the neo. They packed too much crap into the neo and took away the most important things... fuel adjustment points.

The standback is 30x30 for maf, map, fuel, timing and boost now. I haven't played with it becasue my laptop is an old crust bucket but when I have everything working it should be sweet. If I remember a past thread the Neo is only 16x16 right?

The SAFC 2 can be used to tune (add) timing too if you know some tunning tricks.
Add fuel pressure, and reduce the MAF voltage that the ECU sees and the ECU will hit different cells. Main problem is that you don't have full controll over the timing.

Anyone hear of this? (burnout)

a trick that i've always use for piggyback that control fuel is datalog the car in stock form and boost to see where i get the mild to agressive timing, clamp the map from there and usually i use an emanage to just add fuel througout the rest of the rpm range.

So isn't it worth the extra cash to get the 30x30 tables for each peramiter seperatly? The op specifically asked about standback problems. A few have chimed in with cel's and my computer issues, but they are all caused by things other than the standback really.
