Nope, I though of that too and it won't work. We are missing the connections to do it. There is another topic on this in here somewhere. You could look for an aftermarket CC to put on. I found a place by me that would do it for $329 installed. The only thing I didn't like is the cheap looking stalk off of the steering column that they would have put on. The Protege comes with a steering wheel mounted control and there is even a rubber gromet where it should be. I am still looking around for something decent. There are alot of aftermarket CC systems, just finding one that looks good and getting it on is the problem. I agree though that the car should have had it in the first place. I would have rather spent the $350 on a factory CC than have to patch on a aftermarket version.
