CP-e RMM: 60 vs 75 Duro?

Alright well I went ahead and installed my 75 duro motor mount. WOW! This thing is amazing. As far as anyone worried about the vibrations, with this mount they aren't anything to worry about. Upon normal driving I don't notice any at all and when idling they are very very minimal. I would highly recommend this to everyone. The car feels a lot better to drive now and you can definitely feel a difference in every aspect of driving IMHO.

And in case anyone is wondering, here is a pic of my stock RMM after 32,600 miles and a comparison pic:

My stock MM was peeling away from the very front just as yours was and with only 12K miles on it. I also have the CP-E mount and have just recently taken it off for inspection (21K car miles, 9k MM miles) and it's mint condition.

Biggest differences i noticed were the crisper shifts and the motor no longer feeling like it was going to come out from under the hood when autocrossing (lots of full on gas followed by full on brakes, over and over)

That would have to be my #1 thing I like about the new mount is how the shifts feel. I have been driving it all day and night after I finished the install and the shifts feel sooo much better now than they did with the stock mount.

just installed my cpe mm 75d. the vibes aren't as bad as the ones from the trz mount i used to own. solid mount, great shifting and makes the engine feel solid i highly recommend this mount :D

Thanks for the pics and comments. I guess I'll try the 75 too. Wheel hop is barely controllable at launch and do I still need to get the Short Shift Plate?

You don't have ramps and a set of sockets? It's the easiest install. Don't pay someone to do it.

Naw, I'm an apartment dweller, and I don't want to buy too much more stuff that I'll seldom use. I've got sockets, but no set of ramps. Space is becoming a luxury item these days. I don't mind offering somebody a little dough to do it.

I guarantee, if you are interested in keeping your MS3, and continuing your path to modding, you will need a set of ramps. Go to Walmart and pick up these things:

Wheel Ramps: $40
Loctite: $6
Case of favorite alcoholic beverage: $?

For everything else, meh.. you know where this is going.

That's literally like paying someone $50 to check the air in your tires with a race gauge.

I don't think people understand how easy it is. I'm not trying to be one of those "You're Not A Man If You Don't Do It Yourself" people, but it seriously is the easiest install in the world. And if you're so concerned about having a stiffer MM in your car, you should atleast take advantage of doing the work yourself.

It's literally:
-drive on ramps
-loosen 2 bolts
-remove mount
-insert new mount
-loctite and re-insert both mounts
-DRIVE

It takes more time to wash your car than it does to do this mod.

I choose not to lay on my back in the cold and snow. I don't have a heated garage to work in or I would do it myself.

Well, I don't have a heated garage either, and I had the assistance of a friend installing my MSCAI in a snow storm and 10* weather. It sucked, but it got done.

Wait till it warms up then, it's not like you're driving "hard" in the cold and snow. It's waited this long, wait till it warms up and throw it in!
