Could an MSP's tranny handle this?

The kinda power that this car must be putting down and the guy doesn't mention upgrading the tranny in the auction. Does this car belong to a known person on these boards? I'd like to chat with them about it.

Nah, the tranny will be fine. I wonder how well that thing idles with 550cc injectors and a 255 pump with a MPi. I thought we couldn't use the Sti injectors?

yeah i saw that on ebay a few days back. wonder if it was in the 12's i say with the mods he has listed it would be pretty close to 12's if not there.

With traction easily, but traction doesn't seem to come easily with the protege. On the stock turbo anything over 10psi for me, and 1st gear is rendered useless.
