Cosworth?

L3-VDT

Member
I have heard that cosworth had alot to do with designing the L3-VDT engine. I have also seen a pic of a engine in a MS3 that said cosworth on the intake runners. I was wondering if this guys motor was stock and that we just cant see it because of the TMIC.

Can someone help me understand cosworth's investment in the L3-VDT?

I have looked on their site, they say nothing about the engine. They just sell over priced parts for it. I dont expect too many people to know alot about it, I guess I will just ignore my intrest in my car from now on...(boom01)

So, because no one here seems to know what Cosworth may be doing for our engines, you will just ignore interest in your car?

There are tons of useful information here. There is a wonderful community of users who share their experiences and help each other find ways to make their car better, according to their own concepts of what is better. There ae new products discussed here during development and before they come to market. There are lively debates and disagreements that move the knowledge base along.

I hope you will get involved in the sharing and the interest we all have in each other's rides. Once involved, it is contageous . . . and fun.

About a year ago I also looked into what Cosworth made for the Speed3, but came up emptyhanded.

Even tough I have no plans to mod my car, something made and installed by Cosworth and pitched to me at the right price would def change my mind.

cosworth builds the formula atlantics engines which a basically MZR engines on serious steroids. some parts should fit but most likely will not work for our turbo application.

Wow,
Those numbers remind me of the S2000 motor - obviously the Cosworth makes more power but looks like a similar powerband. A real zinger in other words.
