The downpipe will get you more power, however depending on what other mods you have it may lead to boost creep. The catless DP/TP combo is free-flowing enough to start overpowering the internal wastegate (especially with other mods that free up air flow into and out of the engine), causing the boost to rise uncontrollably as RPMs build. That is why I took the catless TP off and replaced it with the original midpipe (which has a catalytic converter). So far this has eliminated the boost creep, although the turbo is a bit slower to spool.
