Corksport TP install questions

It bolts up to the stock DP as well, and the CS downpipe will connect directly to the stock midpipe. they are all interchangable.

I started off with just the CS test pipe and stock down pipe. Then I switched to the CS test pipe + CS down pipe. Now I'm running the CS down pipe and stock midpipe.

If you have a stock cat-back just make sure you order the 65mm instead of 80mm and you should have zero fitment issues.

I got it used and so before I got to install it I wanted to make sure there were no fitment issues, so I will go check if its 65mm tonight.

Is there a big gain or advantage in have a DP with the TP?

The downpipe will get you more power, however depending on what other mods you have it may lead to boost creep. The catless DP/TP combo is free-flowing enough to start overpowering the internal wastegate (especially with other mods that free up air flow into and out of the engine), causing the boost to rise uncontrollably as RPMs build. That is why I took the catless TP off and replaced it with the original midpipe (which has a catalytic converter). So far this has eliminated the boost creep, although the turbo is a bit slower to spool.
