there is just one problem... i have to take the car in b/c of the smoke/turbo issue that everyone is talking about and i am sure they are not gonna like what the see under the hood and what not.

I believe it's been confirmed a) that Mazda hasn't been able to fix this for good, and b) that a catch can stops it. It's not a bad turbo, it's oil flying into the intake from the crank case, thus being sent through the turbo, innercooler, and motor. That's also why the smoke smells like burnt oil.

a couple more... and if you plan on getting this intercooler two things to keep in mind. 1.) if you plan on doing this yourself make sure you know what you are doing and reserve a few day for it. 2.) once you get everything squared away don't be surprised if the car feels like crap b/c it took my ECU about 2-3 days to finaly ajust to what i did and what was going on...

i mean i got beat by a formula firebird a couple hours after i put it in i mean come on! granted my ecu also lowered boost just for that run ( call me crazy ) to 12-13 psi.

its obviously the turbo that is bad 1. because its been researched and 2. My car never smoked anymore with the turbo upgrade. I also do not have a catch can.

i love it dude i can now take it up to 6500 easy! i accually have to look at the RPM's to shift as opposed to felling it when it died at 5800-6000. one more thing i love about it is that although you CAN here the turbo spolling you CANNOT here my forge by-pass valve which was getting kinda old to me. really no turbo lag at all and when cork sport says that you can expect 30hp and 40 tg they are pretty dawn close!

ORDERED THANX!!! I'm running VTA now on my HKS with no issues so hopefully that can continue with this kit.

Yes by the looks it should be that bad. I have done everything else myself.

LOL I don't know the downpipe was pretty freakin bad so I'm hoping it will at least be beter then that.

LOL ok I just don't see what could be that hard about it it's just piping. But I will take your advise and have plenty of beer to chill me out. Hopefully kit will be here on Wednesday. (drive)
