compliment on car today

i was at a gas station today and there was an older gentleman in front of me paying. He turned to me and said, "Is that your red car out there?" I said, "It sure is." He went on to mention that he really liked imports and that he really liked my car. Anyways, he pays and proceeds outside. I pay after him and go outside to leave. When I got outside the gentleman was walking around my car looking at it.
He said, "Man I've seen a bunch of these in town but none that have looked like this. Would you ever want to get rid of it?"
I told him I would like to only because I just got engaged and dont really need the payment right now, but on the other hand I really need a reliable source of transportation.
He said, "Well, if you ever do decide to get rid of it (he hands me a business card) you bring it striaght to me. I will give you something for it."
The card he handed me said he owned a car lot in town.
Anyways, I just thought that was awesome, it really makes you feel good inside when people tell you they like your car, and even better when they want to buy it right there.

i know what you mean.

I was shopping for a mtn bike last summer and when i left someone from the store stopped me as i was getting in the car and started saying how nice it was. We talked about it for about 5 min.

i brought mine into the autoshop at school to work on it and everyone croweded around me to look at it, the teacher inspected it all over and said he thought it was cool

shoulda seen the mechanics when i got an oil change the other day, i think they spent more time looking in my engine bay then acctually changing the oil.
