I can't believe Northwestern has a better record than Penn State. We shut out NorthWestern, but I just had to hope that Kimball couldn't hit that 60 yarder... and he didn't. Could see another OSU v. Miami matchup in the Rose Bowl this year if the Sugar takes USC away.

The only game I've seen Rix play in was against Miami. And he looked bad. Those picks he threw to Taylor killed you guys. U of M, you'd better hope the good Michigan team shows up for the game and not the one that pulled out clunkers against Oregon and a banged up Iowa team.

That's true, the couple games I've seen them play at home they looked amazing. When everything is clicking for Blue, they are scary good. The destruction of a pretty good Purdue team was impressive. I think McMullen should start for us, Krenzel sucks this year and doesn't have Clarett to fall back on.

We win out, FSU gets beat by the Ohio coached Gators of Florida (Ron Zook is from Ohio). USC gets lost on the way to the UCLA game and has to forfeit, and the Buckeyes will shock the world again for the National Championship!!!

Its a long shot but we have a chance. We need Iowa to win out and those morons from Wisconsin to play consistently to help us out. Most importantly we need to win out.

Yes McMullen should start for us, yet Krenzel is the man, still hurt IMO.

Lydell Ross is finally hitting the holes instead of dancing around like a ballerina.

And our Defense is unreal.

Like I said we will shock the world by beating Oklahoma in the Sugar bowl, we are the only team with a defense good enough to stop OU's offense, and besides, like an earlier post stated... who do they play; an overrated Texas team and who else?

Yeah, perhaps I was a bit harsh. Krenzel doesn't suck, but he isn't playing as well as last year. He's going to start on Saturday if he's healthy, but Tressel also said that McMullen has earned some playing time. Rush defense is unreal. What was up with all those 3rd and long completions we gave up to psu? Maybe if Ross could get 50 carries like Perry, he could rush for 200 yards also.

We are a long shot, but shouldn't be. The defense lets us play with anyone in the country.

Well LSU is one of the least mentioned great teams left. Bottom line is though, like the Bucks, other teams need to lose because they're not going to get the number 2 spot in the polls and that will make it hard to move up in the BCS. Everyone loves USC, Pac-10 sucks, LSU very well could be better than USC, but that's not going to make a differnce if USC wins out. USC hasn't faced a good defense. If they do play Oklahoma, they could definately get embarassed.

The big 12 is very overrated, every year. Who do they play?
Iowa State?, Ok state?, Tex A&M? WTF?

I am sick of the Big 12 getting high rankings when all they have to do is beat so-so teams. Nebraska and Tex in the top 10? WTF?
Nebraska got beat by Colorado last year and then Wisconsin kicked Colorado's ass in the bowl game. But Wisconsin is hardly ever in the Top 10.

College football should get rid of conferences and play a tourney for the top 25 teams or something because the BCS sucks.

I do agree with you on doing a tourney for the top 25 teams.... only thing is that there are just to many teams..... and not enough time.......

The kid has potental (sp) of course he need a little more experiance in the college level at the moment, it being his first year..... come next year .....i belive he is going to be one of the best QBs that texas has had in a while...i would say since james brown played..... the kid has a great arm, runs like no other QB i have seen in a while..... will he completely dominat the game.... only time could tell ...... as long as he does not get hurt ..... but at the moment he is way better then he should be with his experiance..... i would not call him the next Mike Vick ... but he is no punk QB either ..... like better then Simms, and Mock ...... but can he throw like Applewhite???? only time will tell .... GO LONGHRON.....( I am a UT fanatic )

Yeah, I'd just go ahead and play Young instead of Mock even though its his first year, he is good. TCU won again. That'll suck if they end up going to a good bowl and the Bucks have to play in some bad Outback bowl or something.

Yes! The Buckeyes are back in it. Our strength of schedule will move us over USC even if we are number 3 in the polls. And the Bucks should jump LSU to #3 in the polls if they can beat Purdue and Michigan who is #5. Thank you Clemson, Pitt, and Tennesee, and Kellen Winslow for being so funny.
