Okay, whenever my car is cold (by "cold" I mean before the needle hits the halfway point on the temp gauge) and I do more than 3,000RPM, I get a high pitched rattle coming from what sounds like the front of my car. Anyone else get this?
Do Not Exceed 3000 rmp's untill fully warm.
Trust Me I've made that mistake before.
you are only going to hurt you nice new car.
and who cares if their is a honda next to you reving his engine.it's not your faul he drives a honda and feel the need to race everone he stop next to at a light. i love to act like i'm going to race and when the light turns green just slowly pull away from the light, watching his rev the s out of his car. kind of a wise ass sometimes.
I did have a rattling when I first got my car that came from the front. It happend all the time though (around 3500 rpm and also at some lower rpms at start), not when just cold. Ended up being a loose or missing bolt from the front end of the exhaust...dealer fixed it. (they f-ing better have as at that point the car was 1 week old)
Hope this helps
Otherwise, the car is kind of noisey when cold, but so is every car I've ever driven...but the blue baby definetly doesn't like the cold at all...
One wierd kind of noise I heard the other night though, I was on one of those concrete type roads (kind of noisey naturally, not black top or macadem, but like stones in concrete) anyway, I'm doing around 70-75 and there is a chinsey type of rattle behind the dash as far as I could tell...anyone else notice it? Once I hit the regular blacktop it was almost completely gone...
I don't know, I've given up at this point figuring that's what you get for 18k...(although I doubt any of these little problems/annoyancess occur in Hondas... )
