Hey guys!I am debating on wether I should give my car a subtle drop??I'm leaning towards it but I don't want to spend a lot of money.I heard it's better to go w/ coilovers over springs bc the ride will be better. Is this true? What would be a cheap way of lowering my car a little and still have decent ride quality???

Springs will give you a better "Tuned" ride as the company chooses the spring rate for the car and the drop...

Coilover springs are just crap IMO.

Coilovrer Suspension like Tein-SS or JIC is the better solution but cost more. I went with Full suspension and would pay it again and again. But that's me.

yep, springs all the way for a low budget tuner. you'll just get a hard and bumpy feel with coilovers and stock struts and as everyone says, save your money and buy new struts + springs/coilover setup because you will end up at the same conclusion..

coilover vs. springs

i just got a set of ground control coilovers on my ride, and in my opinion its better than springs, i had eibach lowering springs-very nice but not stiff, i prefer a stiffer ride and i feel that handling is better w/coilovers

i have a set of eibachs for sale if interested
How much? Im getting kinda sick of the loud as hell skunk 2's.. and they are a little too stiff for my taste.

$250, the coilovers i just put in are like a ****** roller coaster, i hurts, so i no how it feels

i also have a set of tokicos for $200, thats the best fit on msp, mp3 and p5, stiff, but you cant feel em', plus u get the same handling as you would with the eibachs

i dunno, i bought them off a friend, sorry, if they are then i definately wont sell em for that much

if you prefer "less used" ones then i would sell you the tokicos, because they are in way better condition than the eibachs

tokiko springs? Didnt know they made springs.. only shocks..

i upgraded my stock suspension system 3 times, the scond time i did, i got the tokico package- shocks, struts and springs, sold the struts and shocks, have the springs left

Anybody have the Tokico shock and spring kit?Are the struts adjustable? How's the ride on em'?

regular springs for the street like eibach tein or espelir, no need for coilovers unless you want to slam it or its a race car

I love my K Sport coilovers.

Stiff = STIFF They are fully adjustable in stiffness. They are 5 lbs lighter at each corner than the stock stuff, and they are a quality piece.
