Cobb Springs

I want a good set of performance springs, not just for looks. I have researched and cobb seem to be the best. I was going to go stage 2, but have to rebuild the coilovers for my other car so can't swing that right now financially. Anyone know of any other good performance brand? Where is the best place to get the cobbs from. I see protegegarage has them for literally ten cents less than cobb, is that the best I am going to do? thanks in advance,

Been a dedicated COBB-Head for the last 6 years... And last November, I started saying Cobble Cobble instead of Gobble Gobble on Thanksgiving. I think I started it in M3F, and also on the Cobb boards, so you might have picked it up from either of the two

I love how its spread so far and wide across other forums.

Yes... but they are designed to work together as a kit. The Springs themselves should be fine, but to really maximize the benefits, I would recommend the sways... Because when cornering, it's really your sway bars that can make or break your spring setup... as they effectively increase your spring rates while cornering. Good stuff

I am not going stage two yet, just springs for now. I will eventually get the sways but I am also getting the coilovers for my other car rebuilt so cant afford that and stage 2. I watched that Cobb video of the stage 2 car, it just look so perfectly balanced for a fwd car, definately made me want the cobbs. Too bad more companies don't put the effort in to do things like that.
