the resend i asked about the tuboxs fmic is because so far is the only one thats out there that larges core out there
lol yea thats what i call them i really doing look there stuff and there to over price
the biggest core does not mean you have the best core, people. this is why you see equally excellent gains with an upgraded top mount. in fact, the ETS top mount has as much or more internal volume than just about all the front mount kits out there right now. you are trading heat soak for lag and flow path length when you go from the top mount to the front mount.
you need to be able to efficiently and quickly pressurize a large core, and doing so on a front mount means you need to be pushing a good amount of boost. you can actually stand to increase the amount of turbo lag and lose low end power by slapping on the largest core possible at stock boost. the quality of the core being used has alot to do with the end result as well. this is why i recommend the kits i did, because you are guaranteed a quality intercooler core. you don't want to get a core with leaks, thin flow paths and shoddy welds. you should also consider this if you go to build your own setup. the infamous cheap ebay core is cheap for a reason.
a i see im asking because this is my first fast turbo car i dont know much about this things
you definitely want to do your research and ask all the right questions. this car is a blast when modded properly and a pain when things don't go right![]()
I read somewhere that the ets TMIC tends to bang against the firewall a lot when your shifting.
