COBB CBE... vibrating noises in cabin

I noticed that when I installed the COBB CBE (connected to a COBB DP), I'm getting really loud noises in the cabin at rpms over 3000 on the higher gears. It looks like the CBE is barely clearing the cross brace, and I'm guessing that under certain harmonics the vibrations are intense and the CBE is making contact with the cross brace.

Has anyone else complained of this? If so, how was it fixed?

Next weekend I'll drive it without the cross brace and see if it still makes the noise.

Thanks

That definitely sounds like detonation. You should uninstall it and sell it to me. I heard theres a great deal on HKS CBE that doesnt have those issues.

Loosen up the whole catback and then try to adjust it so its further away from the cross brace, then tighten it down once you have it where you want it.

Make sure the hangers that pass through the rubber grommets are not too far through- if they are, they'll contact the aluminum tunnel that the exhaust sits in and create a pretty bad noise.
