decided to start a new thread

results of Stage1+ map (i have cobb sf intake, corksport cbe, and 1g dsm bpv): definately can feel it holding power in the upper RPM range now. can't wait for the 93 octane tune. Holding boost all the way as well.

The current one for the MS3 works for the MS6 with the updated firmware. I ordered mine through S U and its supposed to be shipped out next week :)

Hey Bova,
These DH logs look excellent! Very good throttle, WG, AFR, and boost holding up well. The AP flash appears to be doing great to keep the boost up ~16 psi. The throttle is staying full open so you're getting ALL the little turbo has to offer on the WG spring. I'm SURE you feel the SOTP difference. Based on what you've posted here, I would say the AP is very good and much better than what we've seen with the UniChip. To get more boost than the WG allows, you will need a new flash though... This is the only drawback I see to the AP and is also one problem with the UniChip. At this point, the only advantage to my XEDE and a SB is they are easily tuned by any tuning shop and/or you the owner... A drawback is they both need the CPE throttle flash to keep it open... There's some tough choices now. Before the AP, I think it was easy....

thats actually pretty impressive. it looks like its holding boost better, and actually keeping the throttle plate open. nice :)

How does this compare to the CP-E? The obvious stuff to me according to the website is that I can read my fuel economy and CELs (where the CP-E can't) but that I can't access the maps or whatever and make my own changes or take it to just any tuning shop (where the CP-E can)

I'd be interested in seeing the HP and trq numbers put down between the 2...... also the Cobb site shows the AP having a stage 2? So how come you went with stage 1?

Says who? I didn't read that anywhere.... If I missed it point it out for me please.

Hey Ken I was checking out the shop and I read this....

Coming Soon: The ability to be custom tailored to your vehicle through our extensive network of professional tuners

I'm just curious, is it going to have the option like the CP-E standback to allow me to modify it myself, or am I going to be required to go to a tuner every time?

also have you experienced the standback? Which did you like better the AP or the Standback?

I'm really liking the fact the AP allows the ability to read your CELs and can show you real time fuel economy, so I can see if I'm getting those 27mpg on the highway, lol. But I kind of like the ability to be able to tap into the standback at the touch of a button with my notebook :(

I am currently beta testing a new 93 octane map for the stage 1+SF. For stage 2 cobb states you need a full turbo back exhaust, and for the one I am using it is catback and intake.

Currently in this map boost is set to target 17psi and then it falls down to 15.5 psi by 6700rpm. the logs at the top of this post are from when i was running the 91octane stage1+ with target boost of 15.5 tapering to 13.5. There was an issue with the tapering but Cobb has since fixed that problem. I'll post my logs from my previous revision of the 93octStage1+SF map to show you, boost was 15.5 in that one tapering to 13.5 by redline.

Here are all my logs for the 93 octane tune. All performed in 3rd gear. temp is about 70 degrees or so. This is not the current revision as I just flashed it this morning and have yet to do anymore logs.

the initial release of pro-tuner for the accessport will probably be limited to shops only. i have used all three systems (XEDE, AP, CPe) and each have their merits. everyone knows where i stand - i am not a fan of something you have no control over when it comes to engine management. same applies to unichip. a system that can be tuned by shops only is designed solely to make the dealers money. as a dealer i appreciate that from a financial standpoint, but as a tuner that drives me bonkers.

i'll be happy as a clam when pro-tuner is made available to dealers and shops, i'll be even happier when street-tuner hits the market. until then, its not my system of choice.

Actually I'm a little confused as to where you stand... I'll assume it's the XEDE because of uh (i forget his name)'s black speed6 that you guys have as a test car. If I remember correctly I believe the XEDE and the Standback allow full control over themselves? I didn't like the Unichip when I read about it on street unit....... and btw are they ever going to make the PROceed something or other that was talked about a while ago?
