Yeah i have it and its bad every time im come from a dead stop it shudders but when i hammer it and shift it doesn't slip so im thinking its one of those "get it adjusted at a shop" deals. Has anyone else had this problem?

ive seen it mentioned on here a bunch, i think the consensus was a bad throwout bearing. just a typical MSP weak point i guess. from what ive read, most people just live with it until they get a new clutch... upgraded motor mounts seem to reduce the issue.
how high do you rev it as you let the clutch out? i get chatter really, really bad if i don't give it enough gas before letting off the clutch. i mean knock things off the seats and out of the visors bad. i'm usually letting off the clutch at 2k, then dropping to around 1400. if chatter starts acting up, i just try to keep it at 2k until i'm off the clutch... i think my throwout bearing is bad and my clutch is on the way out, so i know what i want for my birthday in spring.

I seem to be getting it too. I have upgraded front and rear motor mounts (88 duro) but it still gets pretty annoying. I find it gets worse the longer I'm driving the car. I usually have to let the clutch out at 1500rpm, any lower and I'll get chatter or ridiculous vibrations from the motor mounts.
What is strange though, is that I find there is less chatter now that my 15" winter rims are on the car...
I don't think theres a lot you can do short of replacing the clutch/throw out bearing. You could try bleeding the clutch slave. I bled mine and it helped a bit.

this happens to me a lot especially on cold days. I also have to take off at a certain rpm to keep it from shaking everything around and I have 88 duro. front and rear mounts along with side inserts. I didn't think it would have anything to do with motor mounts.
spiced - the mounts, if anything, should help.
chatter, i believe, is caused by loading the powertrain and pushing the motor against the mount, then the clutch slips and drops the motor the other way. then repeat. stiffer mounts are supposed to reduce the tendency to rock, so they should help improve with chatter

yeah, the mounts definitely help stop the rocking but I still get the occasional chatter every now and then.

Mine doesn't seem to be worse when it gets colder. Mine seems worse as the clutch gets used more i.e. lots of city driving. But it feels almost as if I'm getting wheel hop, thats how bad it is sometimes. Does anyone else get that feeling or is it more of just a chattering noise/feeling? Could the LSD have anything to do with this?
