Clutch or Engine Mounts

Having this problem lately, everytime I want to get the car moving from a dead stop, there seems to be excessive vibration in the whole car when I release the clutch. so could this be the clutch or should I be looking at the engine mounts first? I currently have the front/side engine mount inserts.

How do I check if the mounts have gone bad??

Yo, I had that same problem after hoping a curb.... my diff went like 3 months later and when it was in the shop they put the new diff in and i believe they said a tranny/engine mount..? maybe it went between the two? but after i got it back there was no more vibration.

Either you are letting the RPM's drop to far (which make the entire car go nuts with a modified MM, even with inserts) or a busted mount, even if its the clutch I would check the MM's first as its way cheaper to get delt with

If this only started recently its a mount thats busted and probably the rear, that bastard causes so many problems. I know my back is smashed I just have to gear up to replace it.
