Hey I know this might sound like a noob question but Im kind of confused on one thing. I swapped out my transmission fluid a few months ago, and I'm having my mechanic friend switch out the brake fluid on my car tomorrow. I saw on some threads that there is also clutch fluid? Someone also mentioned that the clutch fluid uses the brake fluid? Anyways my question is what is clutch fluid and where is it located. If there is such a thing I think i might look into getting that swapped out with some new fluid. Anyways any advice or info would help, just so i know what in the world clutch fluid is. Hahah thanks ya'll.

^^yeah the clutch and brake fluid are from the same thing. There is a master cylinder towards the firewall on the driver side. That leads to the clutch and the brakes. So you only have one fluid to change. Btw...did you change your brakes or clutch recently that would require a fluid change? Not a big deal just curious.

the clutch and brakes don't share a master cylinder...they simply share a fluid reservoir; just to clarify.

There is a bleeder valve for the clutch near the release fork mounted on the gearbox...you can easily bleed it with a hand pump, or just by having someone pump the clutch while you open the valve. Its just like the brakes, just remember its connected to the clutch pedal haha.

Hey no I didnt change anything on my car. I only changed the trans fluid cause my gears were getting a bit sticky, especially with the short shifter installed, but the Mt-90 fluid is a really good product for the trans fluid. I did my research hahah, it helped the gears out a lot, made it much smoother. Also I just changed brake fluid, cause the infamous brake light kept coming on and off randomnly and I just put new brakes in, so I thought it was time after 175k for a brake fluid exchange. But now the brake light is off, so I think i did the right thing.
